Sony’s cloud gaming PlayStation Now is coming to the UK

Sony’s cloud gaming service is to be launched in the UK this Spring.

PS4 owners with a PlayStation Plus membership can apply now to be considered into their limited beta rollout. To sign up now visit www.playstation.com/psnow. If you don’t get selected and you have registered, you will be notified when the full service is launched.

PlayStation Now will also be coming to other Sony Gaming devices, however if you are hoping to play then Sony requires you to have either a DualShock 3 or 4 controllers and internet speeds of atleast 5mbps for best performance.

PS Now will allow selected PS3 games to be played on PS4. This is one of the things that made us a little disappointed since PS2 games could be played on PS3 via emulation, but PS3 couldn’t be played on PS4.

It has been reported that titles such as Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and The Walking Dead amongst others  would be included. However, it is expected that larger range of titles would be available once the full service is launched.
